Secondly, the staff were absolutely wonderful and made me feel right at home. They were attentive and went out of their way to ensure I had everything I needed. Lastly, the rooms were basic but comfortable, with private bathrooms and AC. The breakfast, specifically the pancakes with banana and honey, was a highlight. I also loved seeing monkeys playing around in the trees - a unique experience!

Spent my Xmas holidays at a cozy lodge surrounded by natural beauty and amazing staff. Loved waking up to the sound of birds chirping and sipping my coffee by the lake. The location was perfect, just a short walk from the main road and bus station. The staff was super friendly and accommodating, always ready to assist and give recommendations for nearby activities. Plus, the breakfast was scrumptious and made my day!

Although the lodge had a great overall experience, there were some shortcomings, the place could use a little extra cleaning, especially in the corners and bathroom. , the room felt a bit outdated and could use some fresh paint and a more comfortable mattress.

Its location was ideal as it was incredibly close to the bus and train stations, which was great for my business trip in the area. the room was basic but comfortable, and the service was outstanding. the staff was very hospitable, accommodating and even arranged for us to rent bikes to tour the ancient city. the delicious home-cooked Sri Lankan food was delightful and presented beautifully.

The lack of air conditioning in the room left us struggling to sleep on hot nights.

The cleanliness of our room was not up to par. We noticed that the linens were not fresh and the bathroom could have been cleaner.
